Sarah Connor is my Dream Wife

Last night’s episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles was the best one yet. The unintentional vs. intentional hilarity factor was pretty balanced, and the bulk of the episode focused on Cameron’s backstory. Smart move, considering she’s easily the most compelling, well-written, well-acted character on the show. Plus she’s played by Summer Glau of Serenity/Firefly fame:

It’s really hard to believe that the election is a little over a month away (not that we’re going to have a winner on Nov. 4th without a huge ruckus but still, a girl can dream). Personally I have a lot of unanswered questions, most of the answers I can find by visiting the candidates websites, reading the… Read More

Yooooo, so back when I used to hang out at The Lodge which was (and is) a really dope restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, also known as Hipsterville, also known as the “other” Bedford Ave, also known as “Are you serious?! This small ass apartment is 2500 bucks?” town, I used to always see this awesome dude who looked… Read More

ACL EDITION

I had the distinct pleasure of attending the Austin City Limits Festival this past weekend, so I wanted to highlight the best of the best (and I must say, the rest of the rest was really good, so it was difficult to narrow the list down after 3 days and 130 bands, but… Read More

Often I wish animals would learn to speak and become citizens, not because I want a monkey butler, or would dig having a bespectacled rhino as a boss, but because I’ve always wanted to see UFC: Animal Edition.  Who would really win in a battle between a bear and a shark?  What if you threw a crocodile… Read More

10 Songs For 100 Days Of Oil Spill

Tomorrow marks 100 days since the BP oil spill in the gulf. I know they “successfully” capped it, but as long as that sucker is still leaking, I’m saying there is still an oil spill. But this disaster got me thinking a lot about the good old days of folk – when popular music regularly included anthems… Read More

Top Ten Worst Band Names From the Warped Tour 2010

When I was in my formative high school days, going to the Warped Tour was a highlight of the summer. Just old enough to drive, we’d pile about 9 bros and skateboards into mom-duke’s Ford Exploder and drive at high speed to Fitchburg or some other pseudo-municipality in middle Massachusetts, blasting Rage Against The Machine and… Read More
