100 Years of Movie FX

This is a mash up of movie clips that takes you through the evolution of visual effects. There are a bunch of things missing, but it does get show how far we’ve come. It’s sort of difficult to believe that all this changed happened in such a short time. I also think it’s funny how I still get chills from seeing a Star Wars clip. You’d think I hadn’t seen it a million and one times. A nod to the guys at Fused Film for this tidbit , “A lot of folks do not know this but ILM’s computer graphics division broke off to become Pixar.” A list of the movies shown in the mash up after the jump.
