Requiem for Sony Dreamcast

It has been a decade since this noble warrior was out in game markets. It had a few amazingly good games during its short stint. Probably most notable to me was Jet Grind Radio. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but it was a good console. Today SEGA continues to fight the good fight solely in the game development arena. It makes good titles across all platforms, but babies from the 80s can remember how it was back when SEGA and Nintendo would do commercial battle. Genesis versus Super NES! Ah yes – those were the days indeed. So I tip my hat to the creators of consoles. The risks and the rewards of staying in the game. Sony Dreamcast you were the last great machine to come out of SEGA, and a worthy adversary to the rest. Continue to rest in peace my good friend. We spent many hours together.

Eurogamer wrote an article that can take us all back to those Halcyon Days.
