Best Original Screenplay – Hurt Locker

I loved this movie for sure.  But my heart kind of breaks for QT.

DUDE.  Oscars.  STOP CUTTING OFF THE SPEECHES.  It’s RUDE.

- Ben Stiller dresses up like a Na’vi and brings the funny (while simultaneously taking some swings at Avatar), as he presents Best Makeup (Avatar is not even nominated).

Best Makeup – Star Trek

Best Adapted Screenplay – Precious: Based on the novel Push by Sapphire

First surprise!  Right on.

Best Art Direction – Avatar

I have mixed feelings about this one.

Best Costumes – The Young Victoria

Well, dressing a queen is always gonna be impressive.  I shouldn’t hate.  I haven’t seen this movie.  I just heart the costumes in Coco avant Chanel.  I think Coco and I would’ve been besties.

Best Director – Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker
