From teen to adult in less than five minutes…

Do you remember those petulant times when you were a teenager and pretty much everything your parents said to you inspired a nasty response or a scrunched up angry face. It didn’t matter how much love they were showering upon you, or how much they cared, you still somehow felt like every question was an invasion of privacy.

This short (very short) film by Greek director Constantin Pilavios captures the other side of this common tale, when the child finally needs to step up and approach the other side of the unconditional love relationship. There’s not much to be said about the filmmaking, other than the bird in the picture is a little ridiculous. But such simplicity with a surprising amount of depth… that’s my kind of filmmaking.

well! I don’t have sound, but luckily I was able to read that and the first thing I thought was “wow, that was quite lovely!”

I don’t usually talk like that… so that reaction was interesting! I’m going to call my dad now.
